With the Booster Course Pass Wave 1 launch of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you now have the chance to explore new extra race circuits ranging from tours to 3ds and many more!

You’d experience the newly-introduced Lucky Cat Cup and Golden Dash Cup. Each of these competitions has eight newly introduced circuits you can explore as soon as you get the Booster Course first wave.

If you’re new to Nintendo, you might be wondering what the Booster Course Pass is or how to acquire it. Well, you’re in luck!

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass

The Booster Course Pass essentially grants you access to new racing tracks. When you obtain this course, you will effectively double the number of racing courses accessible. The Pass unlocks the door to 48 remastered race courses. These courses will be delivered in six batches known as Waves until late 2023, and one wave includes a total of eight new race courses that you can also explore online.

There are two principal means of gaining access easily to the Booster Course Pass:

  1. An active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Membership subscription.

As a Nintendo Switch Online original member with Expansion Membership, you have the opportunity to access the Course Pass immediately after it is released instantly. You don’t have to pay a dime for this access.

However, apart from access to the booster course, a Nintendo membership package also guarantees you a wide variety of other incentives that you can benefit from, such as access to a wide range of exclusive games.

  1. If you are a non-member

You can still get access to the Booster Course Pass even if you don’t have the Nintendo Switch Online membership. However, you will need to buy the course yourself. The Course Pack is available for sale on the Nintendo online shop.
